"The Machine is Us/ing Us"

After viewing this video I have started looking at the title “The Machine is Us/ing Us” in a very different light than before watching. At first I was unsure as to what the usage of “Us/ing” was intended to portray; however after watching the video I realize that they were trying to portray the way that html used to be written in the first web pages ever designed. I believe that Web 2.0 allows people ready to enter the workforce to do a significant amount of research on potential employers, and potential places to live. Web 2.0 facilitates an opportunity to be a much more educated candidate to positions in the workforce. When given the opportunity to ask questions at the end of an interview, there is a much higher possibility of knowing something about the company and the work they do, if information about the company has been accessible to the applicant. I believe that when it says we will have to rethink everything it means that with ever changing technology we will always have to find different ways to improve the accessibility of this information. We will have to find a different way, other than basic knowledge, to evaluate differences between potential candidates for jobs because this knowledge has become so easily accessible.
